Job Title: Accountant R&D

About the Role

We are currently seeking four experienced Accountants with a strong background in Research & Development (R&D) to join our growing team. This is a fully remote opportunity that requires recent, hands-on experience with R&D-related accounting. You'll play a key role in helping clients maximize their eligibility for R&D tax credits, while ensuring compliance and accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed interviews with clients to gather R&D-related financial and technical information
• Review, prepare, and analyze reports and documentation for R&D tax credit submissions
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to collect, organize, and validate R&D expenses
• Stay up to date with federal and state R&D credit guidelines and changes
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all filings related to R&D credits and other incentive programs
• Support clients with additional grant or government aid documentation when needed

Required Qualifications

• Recent and relevant R&D experience is a must
• Strong understanding of IRS rules and applications for R&D tax credits
• Proven experience in accounting, particularly related to R&D expenses
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent professional certification
• Familiarity with other government aid programs or grant funding processes
• Experience working with cross-functional technical and finance teams
