Job Summary:

Disney Signature Experiences is hiring an analyst who will work with partners across diverse business areas to develop and communicate actionable, data-driven insights that help guide optimal performance in achieving Disney’s 2030 Environmental Goals. We are looking for resourceful and analytical talent with a desire to learn, collaborate, and deliver meaningful impact. Disney Signature Experiences includes Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, Adventures and Expeditions, Disney Institute, and Storyliving by Disney.

This position is based in Celebration, Florida.

You Will:

  • Support the collection and reporting of large data sets from a variety of internal and external sources related to emissions, waste, and water.

  • Develop depth of understanding of each unique operational and business context.

  • Identify trends, drivers, and meaningful insights through data analysis, helping to drive strategic opportunities.

  • Simplify and succinctly present complex data analyses to effectively communicate findings to leaders in a manner that is actionable to the audience.

  • Assist in the development of a variety of reports, dashboards, R&D pilot evaluations, and ad-hoc analyses.

  • Track operational and project performance toward environmental goals.

  • Support other work and projects as needed for the team including waste and water studies, and benchmark analyses.

  • Build trust and credibility with a large network of internal partners across the business.

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices for environmental data collection, analysis, and reporting, as access to environmental data, industry standards, and external disclosure reporting frameworks all continue to evolve.

You Will Have

  • 1+ years of industry experience in a data analytics role

  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong sense of ownership.

  • Experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet), and willingness and ability to quickly learn new systems or programs.

  • High standards for work quality, attention to detail, and accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while working independently.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey unbiased analyses to partners at all levels, including non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to confidently translate complex quantitative analyses into compelling, actionable, and objective recommendations.

  • Proven success collaborating with a diverse group of subject matter experts and desire to understand multiple perspectives.

  • Demonstrated strong conceptual thinking skills – must be able to understand broad concepts, articulate linkages/gaps, and recommend tactics/strategies that enable a vision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success developing and delivering performance dashboards.

  • Prior work experience with waste, water, energy, construction, utilities, or ecology.

  • Understanding of the Walt Disney Company 2030 Environmental Goals

  • Sustainability or data analytics related certification

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical/quantitative field – e.g., Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Science, Decision Science, etc.

Preferred Education

  • Master’s Degree in an analytical/quantitative field
