Job Description

Salary: $166,400 - 287,700 per year Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing engineering teams.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience working within engineering teams.
  • Over 3 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • More than 8 years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering practices for the complete software/hardware/networks development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and onsite operations.
  • Experience working alongside product or program management teams.
Responsibilities:
  • As a Software Development Manager for our ELB Data Plane team, you will be responsible for outlining the service roadmap, expanding and leading the team, and diving deeply into the design and architecture of our systems. This position is highly visible and holds significant opportunity to positively influence our most crucial customers and their businesses. You will collaborate with a diverse array of professionals, including software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and security experts, to maintain our leading standards for safety and efficiency while delivering exceptional value for our clients.
