Come Grow With Us! Pyramid Global Hospitality is an industry leading and growing global hotel management company. We are seeking a Full-Time Bell Person / Shuttle Driver to grow along with our company, and to be a part of the culture that puts its people first! 

Bell Person:

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests and offering assistance with luggage
• Transporting luggage to guest rooms
• Informing guests of hotel amenities and services
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
• Assisting with special requests and needs of guests, such as arranging transportation or making restaurant reservations
• Providing security for guests and facilities through patrols of the premises
• Opening doors, moving furniture, and carrying luggage for guests upon request
• Registering guests upon arrival at the hotel and checking them out when they leave
• Directing guests to their rooms and answering any questions they may have about the hotel’s facilities and services

This position requires working a flexible schedule of day and/or evening shifts including weekends and public holidays and is also on call from time-to-time. The applicant must meet the minimum requirements and must be able to speak, read, write and understand English, which is the primary language in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have at least 1 year experience in a similar position; this is an asset but not mandatory
• Applicant must have good communication skills and an outgoing personality
• The ability to lift heavy objects is a must
• Must be friendly and courteous
• Must possess the aptitude to learn and upsell all other hotel products to our guest
• Opening the door of the car for the guest in a professional manner at the main entrance of the hotel and assisting to unload the luggage if any
• Extend warm welcome and appreciation to every guest and any customer approaching by greeting
• Having wealth of knowledge in relating to hotel products, events and promotion, playing the role of salesmanship by doing their effort to sell the hotel at each customer contact, to maximize the hotel revenue
• Being responsible for the cleanliness of the counter and the surrounding environment
• Maintain professional image while on duty with well grooming hygiene and prescribed uniform

Shuttle Driver:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible shuttle driver to transport employees to and from specified destinations in a safe and timely manner. The shuttle driver will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers during transit.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate a van to transport employees to and from designated locations.
2. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
3. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
4. Assist passengers with entering and exiting the van as needed.
5. Ensure the safety of passengers during transit, including the use of seat belts and adherence to safety protocols.
6. Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
7. Communicate effectively with passengers to ensure a positive experience.
8. Handle any passenger concerns or emergencies that may arise during transit.
9. Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
10. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition

 

Qualifications

1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
2. Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a similar capacity.
3. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
4. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Punctuality and reliability.
7. Physical ability to assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle.
8. Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
9. Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Defensive driving certification.
2. CPR and first aid training.
3. Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
4. Experience working with diverse groups of people.
