Business Development Manager - Major Accounts & Auto Care

About the Role

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and growing business? We're looking for a Business Development Manager to help expand our Major Accounts and Auto Care sales. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing strategic initiatives, driving program adoption, and supporting sales promotions and training for our Major Account and Auto Care segments.

What You'll Do

Drive Sales Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets within your assigned territory.
Promote Major Accounts Programs: Present, communicate, and sell the benefits of Major Account programs to potential clients.
Expand Auto Care Memberships: Educate and engage prospects on the value of joining the Auto Care program.
Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Auto Care HQ team to share feedback, ideas, and market insights.
Ensure Smooth Program Implementation: Oversee Major Account setup, facilitate registrations, and keep members updated on new initiatives.
Train & Support Sales Teams: Lead training sessions to help the sales team effectively promote Major Account and Auto Care programs.
Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Maintain strong relationships with Major Accounts and Auto Care members, providing ongoing support.
Stay on Top of Industry Trends: Keep up with program updates and best practices to ensure continued success.
Plan & Execute Sales Strategies: Develop and implement weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales plans aligned with business growth objectives.
Manage Key Accounts: Conduct account reviews and keep leadership informed of key progress indicators.
Engage in Business Development Activities: Support local Business Development Groups (BDGs), attend trade shows, and organize marketing initiatives.

Key Success Metrics

Your performance in this role will be measured by:

New Auto Care member enrollments in your territory.
Growth in Auto Care Gold Certified program participation.
Effective promotion of Auto Care benefits to members and sales teams.
Expansion of Business Development Group (BDG) participation.
Increased co-branding partnerships in the Auto Care program.
Growth in Major Account Sales and overall revenue targets.
Execution of strategic quarterly sales plans.
Regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with top Major Accounts.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

3-5 years of sales and account management experience with a proven track record of driving new business while maintaining existing relationships.
Strong presentation and communication skills to engage potential clients and sales teams.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays as needed.
Proficiency in sales tools and technology, including CRM software, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools like Qlik and Power BI.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
Results-driven mindset with the ability to structure deals that meet sales and profit objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in the automotive or auto care industry is a plus.

Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods.
Frequent travel within the assigned territory (up to 50%), including overnight stays.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $64,624 - $76,175 annually.
