In this position, you will be part of Sentry IT’s Analytics and Reporting Platform Team and you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of initiatives across the organization, working with both IT and business users. This position can be filled as a Platform Administrator, Platform Engineer, or as a Senior Platform Engineer based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

• Contribute: You will focus on enabling and supporting Business Intelligence (BI) platforms to help enhance the organization's decision-making processes. You will have an opportunity to work with the user community from initial access to the analytics tools through final delivery of reports, data movement, data visualizations and ultimately data insight. You will help tune and optimize reporting platform performance and ensure availability to help the business translate data into knowledge using the following solutions

  • Tableau

  • Alteryx

  • Business Objects

  • SAS

  • AtScale

  • Kafka

  • Scripting/automation skills with Powershell or Python

• What it Takes:

  • Associates Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent related work experience.

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.

  • Experience with at least one scripting/programming language (Powershell, Python, .NET).

  • Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems and basic system administration and automation concepts.

  • Experience with one or several of the business intelligence platforms used at Sentry

  • Exposure to basic computer system concepts such as source control, networking, databases, web servers/ storage devices, virtualization, cloud computing, security, and data structures.
