The Role: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer expert in C# to join their Core C# Development team. You will be instrumental in building and enhancing their state-of-the-art, multi-asset class Execution Management System (EMS). This market-leading platform is transforming how the world's largest hedge funds and institutional investment managers execute their investment processes, by unifying cutting-edge liquidity, execution, analytics, and workflow solutions into a customizable interface. Their development team comprises highly versatile and talented software engineers. We are looking for a passionate individual who thrives on delivering extraordinary software in a highly visible role within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scale up capacity and performance of C# software components and end-user experiences through Agile development methods.
  • Make a tangible impact by evaluating and recommending new technologies, and driving the optimal design of next-generation features.
  • Be a collaborative and effective communicator, working seamlessly across multiple teams.
  • Efficiently manage multiple concurrent projects while adapting quickly to rapidly changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree with three to five years of relevant experience .
  • Proven results delivering multi-threaded, high-performance user interfaces in C# .
  • Strong understanding of Core C# .NET technology for both GUI and Server-side development .
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging .NET memory and performance profiling technology .
  • A self-starter and stand-out contributor with a real passion for technical excellence .
  • Proficient in object-oriented programming (OOP) and advanced programming languages .
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) .
  • Previous experience with enterprise production environments, including understanding of operational support issues .
  • Experience with unit testing .

Highly Preferred Skills (Big Pluses):

  • Experience with Java or WPF.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and trading systems.
  • Experience with threading, SVN/CVS/GIT, SQL, XML, and service-oriented architectures.
