New medical technologist OR medical laboratory technician opening at a state-of-the-art laboratory located outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan! This award-winning Michigan-based company offers the industrys fastest turnaround time using the most advanced, court-approved technology available.

This is a permanent and full time position on evening shift (11:30am - 8pm). The Certifying Scientist will be responsible for processing samples, confirmation procedures; analysis, review, and reporting of test results; operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment. In addition, Scientists will be responsible for contributing, recommending and developing ideas for continuous process improvement and performance for procedures, workflow, and the Quality Program.

For consideration, candidates MUST have Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Toxicology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or a related field. In addition, previous experience in a high volume laboratory is highly desirable. Experience with LC|MS|MS is strongly preferred as well as knowledge of fundamental and advanced techniques of separation science.
