Job Description

Summary

Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens, is looking for a part-time Music
Director for approximately 10 hours a week.

Duties

The Music Director’s primary responsibility would be to direct a
bell choir and chancel choir, and to play keyboard (piano and
organ) for worship services on the Sundays when a choir would
perform.
Arrange for special music from outside musicians as needed.
Accompany children’s music for students at Trinity Lutheran
Academy for special services such as Christmas and graduation.
Congregation prefers traditional church music.
The position is available immediately.
Trinity is a Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregation with
around 150 members. It is located at 2535 Jefferson Road,
Athens.
