Job Description

Salary: $129,300 - 223,600 per year Requirements:

  • I have over 3 years of professional software development experience, not including internships.
  • I possess 2+ years of design or architecture experience (including design patterns, reliability, and scaling) related to both new and existing systems.
  • I am proficient in at least one programming language.

  • As an engineer on the Instance Quality team, I will…
  • Collaborate with my peers to design distributed systems that can adapt and grow alongside AWS.
  • Develop software that provides our customers with insights into the health of their servers.
  • Work closely with various AWS teams to integrate instance health data into additional products like autoscaling and auto-remediation.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with my team to assist with incident response during significant customer disruptions.
  • Share my knowledge, offer feedback, and mentor my teammates to foster an environment where everyone can excel.
