COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Cape & Coast Premier Properties offers the most extensive collection of luxury beach homes along the Forgotten Coast, from Cape San Blas to St. George Island and Mexico Beach. With a focus on beachfront and private pool properties, we provide world-class guest experiences with upscale amenities, concierge offerings, and white-glove service.

We use state-of-the-art equipment to provide top-quality ironed, pressed, and folded linens for our luxury hotel, The Gibson Inn, and our property management company, Cape & Coast Premier Properties.

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you’ll ensure that all laundry plant machinery is operating properly. All linens, terry, and other laundry items are clean, folded and stocked for use. You will be responsible to supervising 3-4 laundry attendants including their schedules, attendance, effectivity, and their efficiency.

• This is a Seasonal Part-time & Full-time position
• Position starts at 5pm
• Position ends at 1am
• Sunday - Thursday

You will play a vital role as a Hospitality Operations Professional; you are a key member of the team. You are self-motivated, dependable, and have a great attitude. This position can be very rewarding for people who take pride in their work, work as a team, and like to stay busy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your responsibilities working alongside the laundry attendants will include but are not limited to...

As the supervisor...

• Effectively supervising a small team of 3-4 evening laundry attendants
• Maintaining schedules and attendance
• Monitoring individual and team performance
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing all safety policies and procedures
• Able to meet and maintain weekly production goals
• Disciplinary action if applicable

Alongside laundry attendants...

• Efficiently sorting linen and terry by type as needed.
• Ability to find and treat saints before washing.
• Loading and unloading commercial laundry machines.
• Operating our folding machines and equipment (No one will be required to fold by hand).
• Pack laundry carts/bins with clean and folded linen.
• Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment for day shift

QUALIFICATIONS:

We seek an experienced and dynamic 2nd Shift Laundry Supervisor to lead our small but effective laundry team. This role is integral to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service, ensuring exceptional experiences for both our guests and homeowners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background in hospitality, showcasing a hands-on approach in staff development and process improvement.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $16.00 - $18.00

Bonus Details: You may qualify for an End of Season Bonus. This will be contingent on varying factors that include but are not limited to: Time and attendance, efficiency, and quality control.
