Job Description

Position Overview: The Remote SBA Loan Officer is a seasoned professional with over 5 years of experience in managing Small Business Administration (SBA) customer relationships. This role is pivotal in driving business development, managing risks, overseeing operations, underwriting, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The officer works remotely, leveraging technology to provide exceptional service and support to small business clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the SBA loan market.
    • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain small business clients.
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
  2. Risk Management:

    • Assess and mitigate risks associated with SBA loan applications.
    • Ensure compliance with SBA regulations and guidelines.
    • Monitor loan portfolios to identify potential risks and take proactive measures.
  3. Operations:

    • Oversee the entire loan process from application to disbursement.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
    • Utilize remote tools and platforms to manage loan documentation and communication.
  4. Underwriting:

    • Evaluate loan applications to determine creditworthiness and eligibility.
    • Analyze financial statements, business plans, and other relevant documents.
