Requirements of the Corporate Recruiter; Talent Acquisition Specialist :

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development preferred.
  • Experience in recruiting healthcare professionals preferably in a long-term care or hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across multiple levels within the organization.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and skills in database management and record keeping.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Exceptional sourcing skills and proficient knowledge of various recruiting platforms.
  • Innovative spirit with the ability to create sourcing strategies to acquire top notch talent.
  • Ability to adapt, re-prioritize and flourish in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Experience utilizing an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)

Responsibilities of the Corporate Recruiter; Talent Acquisition Specialist :

The Corporate Recruiter; Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the entire recruiting cycle including finding potential candidates, screening, and recommending them for placement. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and foster relationships with potential candidates. Ultimately, you will create a strong candidate pipeline for our current and future needs.

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
  • Develop and post job openings regularly, keeping ads fresh and current.
  • Support full cycle recruitment for all site requisitions.
  • Source, screen, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers and solicit feedback on candidates to refine recruiting strategy.
  • The Talent Acquisition Specialist will coordinate interviews with the hiring manager and perform in-person and phone interviews with candidates.
  • Administer appropriate company assessment.
  • Educate and inform candidates on the company culture, growth opportunities, compensation, and benefits of working for our organization.
  • Provide candidates with frequent and timely communication throughout recruitment process.
  • Maintain relationship with candidates throughout the process, following up on the interview status.
  • Use a variety of strategic and innovative sourcing techniques to target top notch talent on a variety of platforms.
  • Research our competitors to ensure our ads are effective and relevant.
  • Perform reference and background checks on candidates.
  • The Talent Acquisition Specialist will foster relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved.
  • Stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry association.
  • Complete timely reports on employment activity.
  • Manage the recruitment cycle and all communication with the companies’ applicant tracking system.
