Job Overview

SW Foundation is looking for Drill Rig Operators to join our foundational drilling team. In this role, you will operate drilling rigs and related equipment on commercial, industrial, and government projects. Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To)

  • Operate drill rigs to create deep foundation systems for commercial and industrial projects.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation.
  • Assist with setup, positioning, and alignment of drilling rigs on-site.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drilling plans, and specifications to execute drilling operations accurately.
  • Work closely with crew members to ensure project efficiency and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
  • Assist with job site clean-up and material handling when not operating the drill rig.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience operating drill rigs or heavy equipment (preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting and minor equipment repairs.
  • Ability to read and follow drilling plans and blueprints.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel for projects as needed.
