Nearly 7.5 million consumers receive their benefits through the PlanSource platform, which provides flexible and intuitive software and services for benefits administration.

We are currently looking for an EDI Configuration Analyst to join our Professional Services Team.

The EDI Configuration Analyst provides internal and external technical support as an Electronic Data Interface resource and subject matter expert. This position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining existing data interfaces, with the opportunity for designing and implementing complex interfaces while managing interactions between different internal departments, clients, and vendors to fulfill our contractual obligations. This role works independently and with minimal supervision. The work performed in this role will directly impact productivity, effectiveness, and overall customer satisfaction. The Analyst will have a strong working knowledge of processes, expectations, and service-level requirements.

The EDI Configuration Analyst will:

  • Assist with peer mentoring and coaching.
  • Assist  with department projects or goals.
  • Attention to detail, quality assurance driven, ability to follow process documentation.
  • Consistently exercises effective communication and follow through.
  • Creates and manages new and custom data interfaces and associated support. Follows defined data interface (EDI) processes, procedures and meets defined service level agreements.
  • Ensures all tasks and are delivered on-time and accurately.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Executes daily activities with ease and within the outlined service level agreement.
  • Has a working understanding of data exchange processes and industry expectations.
  • Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and completes tasks and activities effectively.
  • Measures performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of standard processes and best practices.
  • Performs basic and intermediate technical and service job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and has the ability to take on new tasks or challenges.
  • Reports and escalates to management as needed.
  • Understand and applies HIPPA, PHI and PII sensitivity and compliance.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in related field or role.
  • Able to comfortably and effectively present to audiences of various sizes.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment and take lead when necessary.
  • Competencies: skilled, prioritization, critical thinking, process management, leadership, time management.
  • Effectively manages time, daily activities and project timelines.
  • Flexible and agile professional with a goal to develop and refine.
  • Intermediate knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Intermediate skills in MS products including Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Practices strong communication skills with a customer service focus.
  • Thinks outside the box and willing to explore outside area of expertise.
  • Willingly collaborates and shares knowledge with others.
  • Works independently with a strong ability to learn new skills.
