We currently have a role available for an Expert Pharma Analytical Chemist.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Identifying, characterizing and purifying pharmaceutical compounds using analytical and chromatographic techniques (UPLC, HPLC, SFC, LC-MS, etc.).
• Conducting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on instrumentation as needed.
• Developing methods on LC and SFC.
• Investigating LC-MS columns/methods for specific projects.
• Working as a team with other chemists, external resources and data management groups.
• Providing critical feedback to improve workflow and chemistry performance and implementation of best practices.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

• PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field with 3+ years of pharma laboratory experience outside of academia.
• Extensive theoretical knowledge of UPLC, LC, LC-MS, SFC required, as well as hands-on experience with Waters and Agilent systems.
• Functional knowledge of NMR preferred (theory, instrument operation and maintenance, result interpretation).
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Works well both within a team and as an individual.
• Demonstration of excellent team player and collaboration skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.
• The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
