Summary:
The role involves conducting in-depth forensic examinations of digital devices and providing expertise in computer and network forensics. The investigator will leverage advanced tools and techniques to support forensic analysis, vulnerability assessments, and investigations of cyber intrusions. This position requires strong technical expertise, certifications, and a focus on digital evidence analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth forensic examinations of computers, networks, and other electronic devices.
• Utilize digital forensics tools to assist in evidence analysis and data recovery.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of information systems.
• Develop and maintain expertise in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends related to computer/network vulnerabilities and encryption.
• Identify, monitor, and investigate computer and network intrusions.
• Provide forensic support to high-tech investigations, including evidence seizure and analysis.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in information security operations or IT-related functions.
• Proficiency in dead box, network, and memory forensics.
• Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Sentinel One, and Magnet Forensics.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
• Certifications (one or more required):
• CompTIA Net+
• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Security+
• CPTE (Certified Penetration Testing Engineer) or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• GCIA (GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst)
