Job Description

Position: Full-Time Housekeeper Location: Darien, CT

Job Summary:A private family is seeking a detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper  who drives to maintain their clean, organized home in Darien, Connecticut. The primary responsibilities will include laundry, general cleaning, organizing, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the house. The successful candidate will be a dedicated individual who is family and kid-friendly, as well as energetic and enthusiastic about their work.

Responsibilities:

1. Laundry: Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes.
2. Cleaning: Vacuum, mop, and wash floors; clean countertops and appliances; and ensure thorough cleaning of bathrooms.
3. Bedding: Make beds daily and change sheets once a week.
4. Dishwashing: Empty dishwashers regularly and ensure clean dishes are put away.
5. Organization: Light organizing tasks and maintaining an orderly environment.
6. Would like this person to drive one child to school and be available if needed.
7. Additional Duties: Perform any other household cleaning tasks as required.

About the Family:

• Adults: 2 
• Children: 2 (15 and 13 years old)
• Dogs: 1 Labradoodle
• Cats: 2

Requirements:

• Work Hours: Monday-Friday- 7:30-3:30- open to later schedule if needed 
• Language: Fluency in English.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience with full-time housekeeping.
• References: Minimum of 2 professional references.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $32-$36 per hour (dependent on experience).
• Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation- 1 week taken when family goes away
