Job Description

This is an in-house-only position. Please do not apply if you cannot work in our office in Statesboro, GA, M-F.

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Graphic & Website Designer to join our team. This role requires an innovative professional with a strong visual design portfolio, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects across various industries. The ideal candidate will lead a small team and mentor junior designers while maintaining cohesive branding across all platforms.

You will serve as the primary Graphic Designer for UP Market Media and our clients, developing impactful visuals for social media, branding, print advertising, brochures, and website design. A strong understanding of marketing and advertising design principles is essential. While experience with website design and WordPress is preferred, it is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging and on-brand graphics for social media, websites, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Design compelling print advertisements, brochures, and marketing collateral.
  • Create and refine logos and branding materials that align with each client’s identity.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms for both UP Market Media and its clients.
  • Conceptualize and execute high-quality designs for both digital and print assets.
  • Assist in designing and modifying websites using WordPress and other platforms.
  • Maintain and enforce content standards to enhance website appearance and functionality.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet client expectations and deadlines.
  • Organize and maintain design files, original artwork, and related assets.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices.


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or advertising setting.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, innovation, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and layout for both print and digital media.
  • Ability to follow processes and workflows while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
  • Experience with WordPress (preferred but not required).
  • A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and apply constructive feedback.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to work in-office 30-40 hours per week between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
