Job Description

Immediate Hire for HVAC Customer Service Clerk

Position Overview:

The Customer Service Clerk is responsible for managing customer inquiries, providing

information about HVAC products and services, processing orders, scheduling service

appointments, and assisting with general office tasks. This position plays a key role in

ensuring smooth communication between the company and its clients while maintaining

high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support:

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person regarding HVAC

services, products, and billing.

Service Call Scheduling:

Schedule appointments for HVAC technicians for installation, repairs, and

maintenance services. Ensure timely follow-ups and reminders to customers.

Documentation & Records:

Maintain accurate customer records, including service history, product details, and

any communications. Process and file documentation as needed.

Customer Relations:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by handling complaints and concerns in

a professional and timely manner. Escalate issues when necessary.

Office Support:

Assist with general o􀆯ice duties such as filing, managing customer databases, and

coordinating with other departments (technicians, sales team, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED or trade school).
  • Minimum 3-5 years customer service experience (HVAC experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and phone etiquette.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS office Microsoft Office and other customer

relation systems (CRM systems).

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

Work Conditions:

Full-time position with regular office hours.

Occasional overtime may be required during peak seasons.

In-office position with possible interaction with customers in person and over the

phone.

Compensation:

Position starts between $18.00 – $24.00 per hour DOE
