About the Job:

• HVAC Technician to do Maintenance/Service/Installation/Ductwork in Orlando , FL .
• The job is in Orlando and in the surrounding areas. 
• Must have 5 to 10 years of Residential HVAC experience.

Key Duties:

• Perform installation of HVAC related equipment following company policies and manufacturer’s specifications.
• Carry out the wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment.
• Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering.
• Perform installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and residential buildings.
• Determine the right material needed for installation work by pre-measuring jobs.
• Receive all materials and equipment required for each job, confirm and load them into the company vehicle.
• Ensure all paperwork needed for each job is accurately filled out.
• Ensure assigned company vehicle is kept clean.
• Perform any other duty that may be directed by management.

Key Skills:

• Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and correcting diverse HVAC service issues.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
• Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure the job is done correctly the first time.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Valid social security number.
• Must be able to pass a drug test(s) as required by the company.
• Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
• Maintain accurate timesheet.

• Able to make decisions based on measurable criteria.
• Practical oral and written communications skills required.
• Strong customer service skills required MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency required.
• Strong knowledge of the proper use of Safety Equipment Accurately diagnoses and efficiently accomplishes work desirable to the satisfaction of both the customer and Fuss Free.
• Ready and able to meet time schedules, and deadlines, as well as plan and organize work efficiently.
• Must be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
• Able to work collaboratively with others using tact, patience, and professional courtesy.
• Ability to work under pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, and ready to communicate customer needs concisely during backlog constraints.
• Must be able to travel to and from job, sites.
• Must not have a fear of heights (Acrophobia) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be worn while performing certain tasks.
• Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification required a valid Florida Driver's License is required.
• Incumbent must be insurable at all times by Fuss Free insurance carrier, OSHA 10 certification, preferred but not required.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements:

• Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs.
• Be able to bend/stoop, squat/crouch, climb, kneel and twist.
• Must be able to climb ladders, work both inside and outside, and around moving equipment safely.
