Job Description

To manage the care of patients in conjunction with the patients multi-disciplinary care team, according to agreed upon clinical guidelines, with the objective of coordinating high quality patient care across all care delivery services. Serves as a clinical imaging expert, for the ancillary and nursing staff and provides direction and support for standardization of care of the Inpatient imaging services. Centrally prioritizes and schedules service demand for in-house patients; ensures patients approaching discharge have high scheduling priority. Continually re-assesses prioritization of patients with changing conditions. Manages service department order queue; coordinates service requests among both inpatient and outpatient schedules.

Associate's Degree - Completion of an accredited radiology program.

3 years - In-patient Radiology technologist experience required. Experience serving as a lead tech or department coordinator preferred.
