For nearly 20 years Remote Solutions has been designing, testing, and innovating remote racking systems. Our goal is to create and improve a product that keeps every operator in the field safe from the effects of arc flash incidents and protect the switchgear racking mechanism from damage. Our products are designed and assembled in our state-of-the-art facility in Tucson, Arizona to ensure the highest quality, reliability, and durability for everything we sell.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our inside sales team as an Inside Sales Associate in this management track position. This role will focus on selling highly technical, engineered products to a diverse client base. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving. The position provides growth opportunities in both sales and management, offering a clear pathway to leadership within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support & Lead Generation:
    • Qualify inbound leads and proactively generate new business opportunities within a designated territory.
    • Work closely with the sales team to identify and develop sales strategies for targeted prospects.
    • Manage customer inquiries and provide tailored solutions for complex product needs.
  2. Product Knowledge & Technical Sales:
    • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's engineered products and their technical features, applications, and benefits.
    • Serve as the technical expert during sales conversations, guiding clients through complex product specifications and ensuring they receive optimal solutions.
    • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to address customer requirements and propose solutions.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
    • Provide excellent customer service by offering product training, answering technical questions, and resolving issues quickly.
    • Understand customer needs and provide personalized recommendations for product improvements or customizations.
  4. Sales Process & Reporting:
    • Utilize CRM tools to track sales progress
    • Collaborate with management to develop strategic sales plans and align with business goals.
    • Regularly report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to senior leadership.
  5. Leadership Development (Management Track):
    • Receive ongoing training and mentorship to develop leadership skills and managerial capabilities.
    • Contribute to cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives aimed at improving business operations.
    • Take on progressively more responsibility, leading teams and driving sales objectives as you advance through the management track.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of inside sales experience, preferably in a technical, engineered product environment.
  • Proven ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional departments (engineering, product development, etc.).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite; experience with technical sales tools is a plus.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role (even in an unofficial capacity).
  • Familiarity with technical sales processes, including product demonstrations and technical documentation.
  • Technical certifications or training related to the industry (e.g., engineering, product-specific certifications)
