Job Description

Essential Functions –

Food preparation: Cooking patties , fries, chicken strips and other food preparation tasks
Food safety: Following food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and food-borne illnesses
Kitchen cleanliness: Keeping the kitchen clean and organized
Waste reduction: Helping to reduce waste
Health department regulations: Ensuring all health department regulations are met
Attention to detail: Paying close attention to detail
Teamwork: Working well with others
Must be able to work Weekends (Saturdays & Sundays)

Work Environment –
Indoors They often work early mornings, late evenings, weekends

Physical Demands –

Lifting over 20lbs Standing: Working in a kitchen often involves standing for long periods of time.
Lifting: BOH staff may need to lift heavy pots, pans, and other items, such as boxes of chicken or patties.
Bending: BOH staff may need to bend frequently to reach items in low places.
Repetitive motions: BOH staff may need to perform repetitive motions with their hands, fingers, and wrists.
Working in different temperatures: BOH staff may need to work in spaces with varying temperatures.

Operating equipment: BOH staff may need to safely operate grills, ovens, slicers, and other equipment.

Required Schedule –
8a.m.to close ( closing time may vary)
