Job Description

Our client, a real estate management company, is seeking a proactive Leasing Agent with expertise in tenant acquisition, property marketing, and lease negotiations.

The ideal candidate will manage rental properties, attract and screen tenants, execute lease agreements, and ensure high occupancy rates. This role requires a strong sales mindset, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with tenants and property owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet prospective residents
  • Create a welcoming and professional first impression.
  • Answer initial questions and guide visitors through the leasing process.
  • Provide tours and promote attractive features/amenities
  • Highlight key selling points of the property and community.
  • Address concerns and provide solutions to encourage leasing decisions.
  • Clearly communicate pricing structures and eligibility requirements.
  • Assist applicants in understanding documentation and approval processes.
  • Record visitor traffic and leasing status into the database; follow up with prospects after viewing units or submitting applications
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all interactions.
  • Provide personalized follow-up to increase conversion rates.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Coordinate with management to finalize lease agreements.
  • Compile and analyze leasing data to support business decisions.
  • Take ownership of marketing the property through online advertisements, corporate outreach, and social media
  • Create engaging content to attract prospective tenants.
  • Monitor and update listings across multiple platforms.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in multifamily residential property management
  • Familiarity with day-to-day operations of apartment communities.
  • Proven ability to handle leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
  • Demonstrated success in converting leads into leases.
  • Skilled in presenting properties and closing deals.
  • Ability to manage multiple units and leasing cycles simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with residents and prospects.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • A team player who contributes to a positive work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Comfortable handling administrative tasks and multitasking.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Bi-lingual is a PLUS

Location: Baltimore, MD
Salary:
$75K + commission
