Our client is a reputable law firm based in New York, NY, dedicated to providing top-notch legal services in real estate and affordable housing. We are currently seeking a skilled LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credits) Attorney with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join their dynamic team and contribute to our mission of fostering affordable housing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

* Providing legal counsel on Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions.
* Conducting due diligence and ensuring compliance with LIHTC regulations.
* Drafting and negotiating agreements related to affordable housing projects.
* Advising clients on tax credit structuring and financing options.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful transactions.

Qualifications:

* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Active membership in the New York State Bar.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing as a LIHTC Attorney.
* In-depth knowledge of LIHTC regulations, tax laws, and real estate transactions.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Must have experience on the developer side of transactions.
* Ideally seeking someone who can manage the deal process with little to no oversight.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
