Description A well-regarded San Francisco-based law firm is seeking a California-licensed Litigation Attorney to provide interim trial support on a contract basis. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to active employment and real estate litigation matters, supporting the firm's trial preparation efforts in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. While the firm prefers candidates who can report onsite on an as-needed basis, it is also open to fully remote support for the right candidate. Attorneys must be comfortable managing litigation matters independently and collaborating closely with supervising attorneys. Key Responsibilities + Manage assigned litigation matters from case strategy through trial preparation + Draft pleadings and motions, including answers, demurrers, MSJs, motions to compel, and motions in limine + Prepare and respond to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and RFAs + Conduct legal research and draft case evaluations, strategy memos, and client communications + Assist with deposition preparation, including outlines, expert coordination, and record review + Collaborate with supervising attorneys on litigation strategy, settlement evaluation, and trial planning Requirements Qualifications + Active and in good standing with the California State Bar + 1-5+ years of California-based civil litigation experience; experience in employment or real estate litigation preferred + Proficiency in California civil procedure, discovery, and motion practice + Strong legal writing, research, and case management skills + Self-directed and dependable, with the ability to manage a litigation caseload independently + Demonstrated ability to contribute meaningfully to trial preparation + Open to both full-time and consistent part-time availability for the duration of the assignment If you're a California-barred litigation attorney seeking flexible remote work and the opportunity to support meaningful trial prep, we encourage you to apply.
