Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate  Massage Therapist  to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality massage therapy services to clients, focusing on the relief of pain, stress reduction, and overall wellness. The Massage Therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and promote a holistic approach to health.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments, including medical history and physical evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
• Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and other modalities, to alleviate pain and improve client well-being.
• Educate clients on self-care practices, including stretching, exercises, and lifestyle changes to support treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment.
• Stay current with advancements in massage therapy and participate in continuing education opportunities.
• Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards in massage therapy practice.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Licensure: Valid state license to practice massage therapy.
• Certification: Certification by a recognized professional organization (e.g., National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork) is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required.
• Skills:  Strong manual therapy skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to client-centered care.
