Medical Practice Administrator Shrewsbury, MA
We are looking for an experienced Practice Administrator to join our physical therapy group full time in Shrewsbury, MA.
The Practice Administrator is an essential member of the executive team and works together with the Director of Operations to oversee every aspect of the multi-location practice. The Practice Administrator directs the business operations, reports to the Owner regarding financial and legal performance, administrative staff performance and opportunities for the business. We are a physical therapist owned private outpatient orthopedic practice in the Central Massachusetts area and we pride ourselves on direct patient care and attention to detail and have been serving our community for over 20 years! Our administrative expertise ensures that this aspect of the healthcare process is seamless and smooth for patients and doctors alike. We work hard to see new patients as quickly as possible; we don't want patients to have to wait for care when they are in pain. Our Physical Therapy clinic is well respected in the local and national medical community, and our dynamic team was awarded honorable mention in the nationwide ADVANCE Magazine for Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation's "Practice of the Year" competition! On a day-to-day basis, we offer the challenge of a varied caseload ranging from seniors to post-surgical cases to high level athletes. We also provide specialty services such as Pilates, dry needling, vestibular therapy, amputee rehab, and aquatic physical therapy.
Duties:
-Oversee accounts payables, receivables, bookkeeper, Tracking and reporting banking activity
-Work directly with Accountant to create budgets, annual financial plan, tax planning
-Benefit Management and administration including making benefit decisions
-Employee handbook, Employee orientation and maintaining employee records
-Oversee payroll processing
-Posting Positions, Screening candidates and Create offer letters
-Oversee discipline and termination processes
-Oversee Authorization and New Patient departments, all Front Office Specialist practice-wide, Billing Operations Specialist (vendor management, hr, bookkeeping, newsletter), and billing dept.
-Meet with Billing Manager weekly to review reports, staffing and payer updates
-Oversee credentialing
-Assist in billing tasks when able
-Oversee development of all marketing materials and website and Brand Compliance including signage, shirts, peripheral materials, and nametags.
-Oversee social media, ensure Social Media Coordinator has up-to-date, weekly and special event postings.
-Direct supervision of Support Staff Manager
-Conduct weekly meetings with Director of Operations and Owner maintaining clarity of goals and strategic planning.
-Work with Director of Operations and Support Staff Manager on developing Front Office Specialist procedures and policies.
-Manage vendors for facility needs.
-Oversee IT management; work with Clinic Managers, consultants, and vendors to ensure continuous operations for telephones and computers in multi-locations.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in business and a minimum of 5 years managing day-to-day practice of medical physician's office or equivalent.
-APTA certified administrator required within 1 year of employment.
-Knowledge of KAREO billing software and WebPT documentation software preferred.
Salary:
-$70-90K per year
