Job Description

Silver Mountain is hiring for multiple Forklift Drivers for a relocation and logistics focused company to work on various work projects. This includes moving projects, warehouse projects, and general logistics/relocation projects as needed.

Our positions start at $19/hr, and go up to $22/hour depending on experience. Both full-time and flexible part-time opportunities are offered with Monday-Friday and weekend work available depending on the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklifts as needed to pull, store, or otherwise transport loads
• Frequently lift objects up to 50lb on or off of pallets
• Lift heavy loads above 50lb using either team-assisted lifts, or various equipment
• Update compliance using handheld mobile devices
• Manage item locations/inventory using inventory sheets or digital inventory
• Communicate and manage both the project and customers routinely
• Wrap, pack, or store various household and business furniture or goods frequently

Job Requirements:

• Forklift experience of 6 months MINIMUM- with 1 year+ highly prioritised
• Recommended experience on various forklifts such as stand-up/reach lifts, but at LEAST sit-down forklifts
• Valid CA Driver License for transportation between projects or work areas across Sacramento
• Ability to physically lift objects of varying sizes and weights up to 50lb often
• Ability to stand or walk under load consistently throughout the workday
• Own transportation occasionally needed to travel between job sites on the same day
• Computer/Mobile savvy; as needed to meet compliance and communication needs
• Willingness to submit to pre-employment screenings
