Job Title: Nurse Delegated Coordinator
Reports to: Nurse Delegated Training and Program Supervisor
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00
Summary
The primary role of the Nurse Delegated Coordinator is to provide support to clients on their caseload requiring nurse delegated and other medically intensive tasks. Assist clients to achieve their goals in accordance with the residential guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Acknowledge and advocate for the needs, wants, and rights of clients with dignity and respect.
Identify areas of change that clients on their caseload would like to achieve.
Transport clients to and from all agency activities, and/or arrange transportation services as appropriate.
Assist with client money management such as petty cash, receipts, checkbook and EBT’s.
Report promptly instances of injuries, behaviors, abuse, and safety hazards, etc. to management, following the Chain of Command.
Ensure adequate health care for each client.
Assist clients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed.
Monitoring vitals (if applicable) and client behavior.
Turning or adjusting clients in bed to prevent bedsores and/or other discomfort.
Ensure clients have access to regular meals.
Accompany clients to health appointments and provide appropriate documentation for each appointment to management in a timely manner.
Communicate with medical offices, pharmacies, and the nurse delegator.
Administer medications to clients and document accordingly, including nurse delegated tasks.
Assist client with daily hygiene as outlined in care plans, including personal care such as brushing teeth, bathing, hair washing, toileting, etc.
Maintain client confidentially.
Maintain appropriate staff/client relationships.
Safeguard all company and client property.
Complete all forms, reports, and data sheets for caseload.
Be aware and abide by all agency policies, procedures, and practices.
Maintain open communication with supervisor and management team to report any concerns with clients, scheduling, and/or other staff.
Education and Experience
Minimum age of 18 years
Current criminal background check cleared by DSHS before working alone unsupervised with the clients
Valid driver’s license or Washington State ID
Home telephone or cell phone
High school graduate or equivalent
Additional training specific to client complex care and behavioral needs
Skills and Qualifications

In-depth understanding of client care policies and regulations
Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions
Comfortable working with specific populations of clients, including elderly clients and those with special needs
Physical strength and stamina
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) License, or higher (preferred)
Home Care Aide (HCA) License (preferred)
