The Epic Orders Analyst will provide application support, build, testing, and optimization of Epic Orders workflows. The analyst will collaborate with clinical providers, nursing staff, pharmacists, and ancillary departments to design, validate, and support orders functionality within Epic, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Provide application build and configuration for Epic Orders workflows (CPOE, order sets, protocols, preference lists, and decision support).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and ancillary staff to gather requirements and translate them into system functionality.
- Participate in system testing, integrated validation, and change management processes.
- Troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolution or escalation as appropriate.
- Support compliance with state, federal, and regulatory standards for orders management.
- Work collaboratively with other Epic module analysts to ensure workflow integration and system interoperability.
- Participate in on-call rotation for orders-related support issues.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Epic Orders certification
- 7 years of Epic implementation or operations support experience
- 7 years of strong understanding of clinical documentation practices in healthcare settings
- 7 years of ability to analyze workflow needs and translate them into Epic configuration
- 7 years of previous experience as an Epic Orders Analyst or Builder in a healthcare environment
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- 5 years of Epic Clin Doc or other related certifications
Special Considerations:
- Must be Epic-certified.
- Position will participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
