Job Description
TOR Wealth Advisors is a boutique
wealth advisory and multi-family office firm in the Sacramento area.
Our mission is simple: TOR strives to increase our clients’ financial and emotional security. While relatively new (founded December 2021), TOR Wealth Advisors is a great place to work and grow because of our strong values, abundance mindset, and growth trajectory. We offer a flexible hybrid work schedule and an opportunity to work side by side with a seasoned wealth advisor. Because we are a small firm, you will have exposure to all aspects of the business. TOR is a dynamic, growing place early in its growth trajectory. Candidates for this role should expect to work on a variety of challenges and opportunities both with clients and internal to the firm. Candidates who are most comfortable with clearly defined job duties and predictable, repeatable work environments or who do best with larger teams around them will most likely not be happy at TOR. Candidates who like variety, are self-starters and comfortable making decisions without perfect information, and who can transition from task to unlike task and back again rapidly are likely to find success.
We are currently seeking a Paraplanner to join our team. This role will provide direct support to the Founder by conducting investment research, attending client meetings and assisting with the preparation of financial plans, full balance sheet reporting and analytics, and investment advice. This role will also support model portfolio updates, client account reporting, and account maintenance. In TOR’s flat structure, this role reports to the Founder and will be characterized by regular opportunity to learn from an established Advisor (and hopefully teach him as well!).
This job does not require sales or client generation work or skills, while of course those abilities are always welcome. Successful professionals in this role may, but are not required to, grow into capable Wealth Advisors with their own clients over time.
