Position Title: PLC Programmer
Compensation: $50 per hour
Duration: 9month contract with potential for conversion
Location: Hybrid requiring 3 days onsite but could be more depending on production floor
Overview:
Our client is seeking a PLC Programmer to design program test and maintain Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems for industrial automation in plastics manufacturing. This role involves working on the production floor to ensure effective and efficient operation of automated machinery as well as integrating realtime data from machines into the ERP system. Strong collaboration with crossfunctional teams providing technical support and staying updated on plastics industry trends are all key in this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ladder logic control systems and industrial automation within the plastics industry. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence at least 3 days a week.
