About this opportunity

This pre-law internship role within the legal department offers a dynamic opportunity for hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will support the various functions of the legal department, including, but not limited to, legal operations, public policy, strategic commercial affairs, and corporate securities. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of legal processes within a large business organization and develop their legal and business acumen.

In this role, you will…

• Assist with legal programs and projects impacting day-to-day legal support and operations. 
• Conduct  research on artificial intelligence governance , helping to ensure that the organization's use of AI is compliant with current laws and regulations, and staying abreast of emerging legal trends in this dynamic area. 
• Support the litigation team by  conducting research on various legal issues related to anti-trust litigation, ensuring comprehensive understanding and preparation for potential cases.
• Support  legal, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance initiatives, promoting and protecting competitive advantages through corporate governance and integrity.
• Assist in  knowledge management , service portfolio projects, and KPIs, as well as contributing to automation, data analytics, and AI functionalities within the legal department.
• Collaborate with various personnel across business functions globally, demonstrating superior communication and excellent organizational skills. 

These responsibilities aim to provide interns with a broad understanding of the legal department's role within a large business organization and the opportunity to develop practical skills in a real-world setting.

In this role, you’ll need …

• A  Bachelor's Degree or current enrollment in a law-related degree program.
• Superior communication skills , both written and verbal, and excellent organizational skills. 
• The ability to work  collaboratively with a variety of personnel across business functions globally.
• A  practical, solution-oriented mindset , high-energy, agile-minded, strategic, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-moving, complex environment. 
• Research skills
• Educational focus on developing legal and business acumen and a deep understanding of legal processes within a large business organization
