Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Lead to oversee and manage a team of Proposal and Technical Writers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT/Non-IT Staffing, Medical Transcription, and IT Support/IT Managed Services. This role requires strategic leadership, proposal development expertise, and the ability to work under tight deadlines to deliver high-quality proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Proposal and Technical Writers, ensuring efficient proposal development.
• Oversee the bidding process for IT/Non-IT Staffing, Medical Transcription, and IT Support/IT Managed Services.
• Provide senior-level proposal management for various contracting vehicle proposals.
• Support the full lifecycle of the proposal development process, from opportunity identification to final submission.
• Design, maintain, and enhance the proposal content library on GSG's SharePoint portal.
• Analyze new opportunities by thoroughly reviewing RFP and SOW documents, identifying key requirements, and developing response strategies.
• Attend daily opportunity discussion calls with the Vice President to evaluate Go/No-Go decisions.
• Edit and refine draft proposals, ensuring alignment with RFP requirements and clarity for the intended audience.
• Conduct proofreading and quality checks using tools such as Visible Thread-Language Analysis Platform and Quillbot's Paraphrasing tool.
• Ensure quality control and compliance throughout the proposal development process under strict deadlines.
• Submit final proposals, including pricing, ahead of submission deadlines.
• Train and mentor new proposal writers, enhancing team capabilities and efficiency.
• Develop a Resume Requirement Matrix and collaborate with the recruiting team to source compliant resumes for various staffing bids.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in proposal writing, management, and coordination.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Extensive experience in responding to RFPs for IT/Non-IT Staffing, Medical Transcription, and IT Support/Managed Services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and proposal development tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex RFPs and develop clear, compliant, and compelling proposals.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
• Familiarity with government contracting and proposal submission processes is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
