A Qualified Professional (QP) at Safeway Home Health Care will provide training, supervision and evaluation of PCA workers and the services they deliver. A QP performs the following duties:

Training, supervision and evaluation of PCA workers
Evaluation of the effectiveness of PCA services.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as physicians and social workers to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicating with the homecare agency regarding any changes in the patient’s condition.
Grow the PCA program, which will lead to promotions and other opportunities.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for a position as a Qualified Professional, you must possess the following qualifications and requirements:

Bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
Must have RN Licensure in the state of Minnesota.
Work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team.
Flexibility to travel and work in various locations, sometimes on short notice.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations governing home healthcare providers.
