Job Summary

IMI is seeking a full-time Recruiter with experience in the Construction / Skilled Trades industry for our Watkinsville, GA office.

Essential Functions

The Recruiter will be responsible for all recruitment needs of IMI and provide administrative support to all company departments and divisions.

• Source, screen and recruit candidates to fill open job commitments for all departments and divisions when requested.
• Interview potential candidates for open job commitments via face to face and/or phone.
• Pre-screen applications for potential candidates that meet qualifications for very specific jobs and forward to Division Managers to review.
• Interpret job requisition forms submitted from Division Managers and coordinate with Human Resources Manager to advertise in social media and job boards.
• Maintain a database of available applicants.
• Utilize various search engines to source for open positions.
• Work with various staffing services to fill open positions as needed.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 1 - 2 years relative work experience as a Recruiter is required.
• Knowledge of industrial experience or skilled trades is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as a member of a team, with minimal supervision.
• Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and dress.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with future employees, managers, and co-workers.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Manual dexterity needed for repetitive tasks and operating standard office equipment.
