Regional Sales Manager - Remote

$100 a month cell phone stipend.

Your New Opportunity

The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with the hotel portfolio to ensure we always provide an exceptional level of service to our guests. This individual will be responsible for prospecting new accounts in assigned market segments as well as maintaining and growing an established book of business. The Regional Sales Manager will be assigned quarterly sales goals that align with the Brand's overall sales objectives. This individual will be responsible for exceeding those quarterly sales goals.

The Role

  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guest complaints to satisfaction.
  • Embrace and exemplify the SCP Culture & Core Values in your day-to-day job duties.
  • Works with other sales leaders, Central and property teams to promote understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segments.
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of market segments by analyzing historical data, trends, comp set intelligence, shops
  • Proactively solicits and books business in assigned market segments (segmentation is always subject to change at the discretion of the Central Sales Leaders)
  • Plans and participates in sales trips and industry related events
  • Participates in departmental sales meetings and relevant operational meetings
  • Analyze and evaluate effective market trends to identify new business opportunities and re-direct business from competitors
  • Develops and manage relationships with key clients
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Regional Sales Manager has the opportunity to participate in the Central Sales Incentive Plan in addition to benefits package (healthcare, 401K, etc)
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Requirments

  • 3 years hotel group sales experience
  • Knowledge and/or experience in multi-segment selling
  • Self-Starter with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent problem-solver who can come up with creative solutions that take soul, community, and the planet into account with every decision.
  • Strong Prospecting Skill Set
  • Tech-savvy. Knowledge with CRM systems, Event Temple, Delfi, C-Vent.
  • Energized by a rapid and ever-changing startup environment with a passion for sales!
