We are currently seeking a qualified and skilled Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to join our dynamic remote teaching team. Position Overview:

Location: Fully Remote
Work Hours: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Start Date: Immediate start available
Caseload: Students ages 3-18
Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $35+/hour, based on experience and qualifications

As a Remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering specialized, individualized instruction to students, ensuring that each student's unique needs are met in a supportive and engaging learning environment. You'll collaborate closely with families and educational teams to provide the best educational experience possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality virtual instruction to students ages 3-18
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
Monitor student progress and provide ongoing feedback to ensure success
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress
Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a comprehensive learning experience

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Teaching for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) or a related field
Valid Wisconsin Teaching Certification for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with a preference for candidates with virtual teaching experience
A passion for working with children and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of each student
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
