About the role:  

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, proactive, and compassionate Social Media Moderator to join our Marketing & Community Engagement team. This person will play a key role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and encouraging online environment across Pompa Program's social media platforms and communities. As the frontline of our digital presence, the moderator will be responsible for protecting our brand voice and ensuring all comments and discussions reflect our mission, values, and community guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily activity across all Pompa Program social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and community groups.
  • Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, warm, and professional manner, aligned with our brand voice.
  • Remove, report, or escalate inappropriate, offensive, or misleading content that violates community guidelines or threatens the integrity of our platform.
  • Identify trends in conversations, questions, or concerns and provide regular feedback to marketing and customer support teams.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to develop moderation best practices and update community standards as needed.
  • Support campaign and product launches by ensuring comments and conversations remain focused and constructive.
  • Maintain a pulse on the overall sentiment of the community and contribute ideas for improving engagement and trust.
  • Provide regular moderation reports including volume, issue trends, and noteworthy interactions.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience moderating online communities or managing social media platforms for a brand.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Familiarity with community moderation tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, or similar).
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle sensitive or negative comments with discretion and grace.
  • Strong alignment with Pompa Program's mission, faith-based values, and belief in the body's ability to heal.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Flexibility to occasionally monitor outside of standard business hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.

Compensation Range:
$22.00 per hour + bonus
