Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Hospital (CABHH) in Willmar has an opening for a Social Worker to work with kids receiving inpatient psychiatric treatment. We provide mental health services for children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 6-18) with serious behavioral and emotional conditions. Develop therapeutic relationships and engage with patients while prioritizing safety and aiding patients in progressing with their treatment plan goals and objectives Maintain and provide a safe, clean, and therapeutic work environment for treatment.
The role of the Social Worker is to provide integrated mental health care and social work services to patients of CBHH. As the lead Social Worker, they provide clinical guidance, case management support to the social work team, assists with delegating caseloads (along with the Regional Clinical Administrator and CBHH Program Administrator), facilitates team and social work department meetings, guides discharge planning to ensure timely discharge to the clinically indicated level of care, directly manage discharges for patients who no longer meet criteria for continued hospital stay, and deliver ongoing coverage for when the assigned social worker is out. As a peer to the facility’s other mental health professional, they work as a team to deliver individual and group therapy and provide coverage for each-other.
