Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate educator to teach Drone Technology, Video Game Design, and Video Production at Kimball High School. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of these fields and a passion for inspiring students to explore their creativity and technical skills.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teaches assigned classes in Drone Technology, Video Game Design, and Video Production, utilizing the adopted course of study and appropriate learning activities.
  • Develops and implements engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and promote student achievement.
  • Creates a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student exploration, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Provides individualized and small group instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Evaluates student progress and provides timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintains accurate records and prepares progress reports.
  • Integrates technology effectively into the curriculum to enhance student learning.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
  • Stays abreast of current trends and advancements in drone technology, video game design, and video production.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Valid California Teaching Credential Single Subject: Industrial and Technology Education or CTE: Arts, Media, and Entertainment
