Job Description

Who we are. . .

Pearl Health is powering the future of healthcare. We help primary care providers and organizations to deliver quality healthcare to the patients who need it most, when they need it most — and get rewarded for keeping patients healthy.

Our technology, services, and financial tools enable better, more proactive care, decrease total cost of care across patient panels, and optimize performance in value-based care models for Traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage.

We are a team of physicians and public health experts (Stanford, Harvard, Mount Sinai), technologists (athenahealth, Amazon, Meta, Flatiron), healthcare innovators (Centivo, Aledade, Stellar, Arcadia), and experienced risk management professionals (CVS/Aetna, Humana, Oscar) who believe that primary care providers are the key to addressing our healthcare system’s biggest challenges.

Since its founding in 2020, Pearl has expanded to partner with thousands of primary care providers in practices and organizations across 44 states. Our investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Viking Global Investors, AlleyCorp, and SV Angel.

The role. . .

Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, the Vice President of Product will lead the strategy and execution of our product roadmap. You will deliver results at the nexus of technology innovation, exceptional user experiences, and financial outcomes that impact our business. You are an expert at blending strategic vision with tactical execution.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data Science, Experience Design, Marketing, Growth, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs. Your leadership will be instrumental in scaling our products, enhancing user engagement, and maintaining a competitive edge in the market.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Define and execute a compelling product strategy that aligns with company business goals, market opportunities, client feedback, and Pearl’s long-term product vision.

  • Lead and mentor a team of experienced product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Partner with Engineering, Experience Design, and Data Science leadership to ensure high-velocity delivery of products that drive business value.

  • Solve challenging business problems with creativity, inventive thinking, and rigorous analysis.

  • Establish a robust, efficient product planning system that can scale with company growth.

  • Drive data-driven, AI-enabled market research, customer/prospect insights, and data analytics to drive product decisions and prioritize feature development.

  • Maximize high-value product engagement, partnering closely with clients and cross-functional teams to identify and respond to product feedback and trends.

  • Establish leading and lagging key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and continuously iterate for improvement.

Who you are…

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling healthcare technology products that deliver quantifiable business results.

  • Solid understanding of the EMR landscape, regulatory requirements, healthcare interoperability, and value-based care.

  • Demonstrated success with AI/ML and/or large-scale automation solutions, along with a high degree of comfort using AI tools to accelerate internal work.

  • Confident decision-maker who can balance creative thinking with time-to-value of investments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and an obsession with product metrics.

  • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced technology startup environment.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and peers across all levels.

  • Experience scaling product teams during periods of high growth, and a strong track record managing and developing product leaders.

  • Culture carrier who values relationship-building and invests in making Pearl a great place to work.

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
