Warehouse Custodian

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, warehouse offices and the surrounding grounds. The Associates duties include vacuuming and/or mopping floors, sanitizing restroom facilities, cleaning offices and breakrooms and collecting trash throughout warehouse to ensure the building's occupants have a clean space as well as other duties assigned by manager.

Duties:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Ensure the cleanliness of sinks, countertops, cabinets, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms and break rooms.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all cleaning chemicals.
• Alert Manager when cleaning supplies are needed to be reorder.
• Pick up trash and pallet parts throughout the warehouse.
• Pick up trash and other debris around the outside of the warehouse and loading docks.
• Able to perform minor maintenance work in bathrooms and break rooms.
• Utilize proper PPE.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work effectively with a team.
• Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products.
• Able to be on your feet, standing for long periods of time.
• Own or have reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year or more related experience.
• Subject to criminal background check and drug testing.

Working Environment: The work is performed inside and outside of a warehouse setting. You will be working around continuous moving equipment.

Physical Demands: The work requires walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty (50) pounds. Moving items over fifty (50) pounds utilizes a team lift.
