This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of DNAnexus. We are currently looking for a Customer Success Manager in Mountain View, CA, USA . As a key member of the Customer Experience team, you will act as a strategic partner to clients, ensuring they maximize value from advanced biomedical and omics data solutions. You'll guide new users through onboarding, nurture lasting client relationships, and provide expert mentorship on how to drive results through the platform. This role blends technical insight with customer care, requiring you to identify emerging trends, shape innovation, and champion both the client’s success and product excellence. Accountabilities:
Lead customers through onboarding and "hypercare" phases, ensuring fast and meaningful adoption of the platform.
Build strong, long-term client relationships, proactively managing renewals, challenges, and opportunities for expansion.
Offer strategic guidance aligned with customers’ evolving needs, helping them unlock deeper value from the platform.
Analyze trends across client engagements, providing actionable insights that influence product development and service innovation.
Serve as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for improvements that enhance the overall user experience.
Requirements
~1–3+ years of experience in customer-facing roles in life sciences, biotech, or SaaS industries.
~ Background in Bioinformatics, Biomedical Data Science, Computational Biology, or a related field (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD).
~ Strong knowledge of genomics and multi-omics data (e.g., transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics).
~ Proficiency in Python, R, or Bash; experience with ML tools such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
~ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
~ Strategic thinker with strong organizational and documentation skills.
~ Familiarity with translational informatics, including statistical modeling and data interpretation.
~ High emotional intelligence and adaptability in dynamic client environments.
