Key Responsibilities

Promote and market a suite of residential mortgage products to prospective clients

Take complete and accurate loan applications, ensuring all information is properly collected

Develop and maintain strong relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and other referral partners

Guide customers through the loan process from application to closing, providing clear communication and top-tier service

Assess and analyze customer financial situations to recommend suitable loan products

Advise customers on the benefits and risks of various loan options

Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and submitted for underwriting approval

Monitor loan status and maintain regular communication with all involved parties

Stay up to date on mortgage industry trends, regulations, and market conditions

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Must possess appropriate state mortgage loan originator licenses

Minimum of 1 year of loan origination experience (5+ years required for senior-level positions)

Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending regulations, and underwriting guidelines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to analyze complex financial data and recommend appropriate loan solutions

Strong networking skills and active participation in industry-related organizations

Proficiency with mortgage origination software and automated underwriting systems
