Job Overview:

Position Overview: Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of IT systems and software applications. This role involves developing and implementing testing strategies, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement QA Policies: Create and enforce quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Test Planning: Design detailed test plans, including test cases and scripts, to ensure thorough coverage of software functionalities.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Reporting: Generate and present reports on test results, defect metrics, and overall quality status to management.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies and tools. Implement process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Training: Provide training and mentorship to junior QA staff and other team members.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Salesforce testing and QA methodologies.
• Skills: Proficiency in test automation tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certifications: Certifications in Salesforce or QA can be beneficial.
• SDLC and Agile Methodologies:  Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
