Trust & Estate Attorney (Litigation)

Career Consulting Partners is excited to collaborate with a prominent Southern California law firm that has been serving families for over a century. This esteemed firm specializes in a broad spectrum of legal services, including business, real estate, tax law, estate planning, probate, and employment law. Through carefully planned mergers, they have expanded their practice to include intellectual property and financial services, now proudly employing over 50 attorneys. We are in search of an attorney with a focus on litigating trust and estate matters.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Will assist and collaborate with two partners on complex Trusts & Estates litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, and estate administration issues.
• Manage cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, and preparing for trial.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitration.
• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategy and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Work closely with partners and other team members to develop legal strategies and contribute to the success of the firm’s Trusts & Estates practice.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum 4 years of litigation experience with a focus on Trusts & Estates litigation. 
• Strong understanding of trust and estate law, probate litigation, and the legal processes involved in will contests, trust administration, and related disputes.
• Proven track record of managing litigation matters, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court and at depositions.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in client interactions and representation.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Salary: $125,000 - $170,000
