Position Responsibilities

• Ability to install, troubleshoot, and service building automation systems
• Installations will include work with line voltage wiring, low voltage wiring, unitary HVAC controllers, actuators, relays, sensors, and end devices.
• Responsible for programming of unitary controllers, area controllers, and web-based applications.
• Conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of systems.
• Ability to understand and interpret sequence of operation for basic HVAC systems (CAV, VAV, Multi-zone, etc)
• Be punctual in reporting to all assigned shifts and work sites.
• Must possess good communication skills and ability to keep the customer informed of work provided and any outstanding issues.
• Be positive and professional when interacting with clients to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for making recommendations to customers for upgrades, repairs, and system improvements
• Ability to train end-users on operation of BAS
• Ability to work an on-call rotation schedule.
• Timely submission of daily paperwork and service reports.
• Interact with IT professionals regarding web deployment. Knowledge of user interfaces, data servers, IP networking devices, protocols, routers, switches, and hubs.
• Other duties related to the commissioning and servicing of building controls systems
